Placing an order

At the present time if you would like to place an order please contact us via e-mail (or write to us via post) outlining you Name, Address, Phone Number, the items which you would like to purchase and also the method of payment. We will contact you with your order details with the total price of goods plus any shipping costs.

Payment

We are currently able to take payment via cash on collection (at shows), by cheque (as part of our policy we will wait until cheque's have cleared before the dispatch of goods), Bank transfer or we can arrange payment via PayPal.

Cheque's must be made out to ‘Fine Line Models’

Goods remain the property of Fine Line Models until paid for in full.

 

Availability of products

Where possible we endeavour to keep all of our accessories in stock off the shelf. In the event of an item being out of stock you will be advised at the time of you placing your order.

Locomotives are built on a ‘to order’ basis. When placing your order you will be advised of our current build time (typically this can vary from 15-18 weeks depending on our order book). When placing an order for a locomotive we will require a non-refundable deposit of £350.00 to secure your order, then the balance of the total amount is payable once the loco is complete and ready to dispatch.

Shipping

All orders are subject to shipping costs (except those collected at shows). We mainly use Royal Mail for small orders and certain larger items will be shipped via courier. All items will be sent via some means of recorded delivery. All orders paid via PayPal will only be shipped to PayPal confirmed shipping address. We will aim to dispatch goods within three working days of cleared payment.

Any request by the customer for a re-delivery of an order after our initial attempts have failed will incur additional shipping charges at cost.   

Returns

An order can be cancelled in writing within seven working days of delivery if items are boxed and in original packaging, unused and in perfect working condition. Goods must be sent back to us at YOUR own cost, where you will be refunded the purchase price of the order. Fine Line Models will not be held responsible for failure of delivery due to circumstances beyond our control.
